Asset Recovery

We act swiftly and strategically across the full spectrum of asset and debt recovery. Our capabilities include:

• Issuing letters of demand, notice to cure, termination notice, etc.
• Advising on and negotiating repayment and settlement arrangements
• Commencing legal proceedings to obtain court judgment, and subsequent enforcement actions to execute the court judgment (e.g. writ of distress, writ of possession, garnishee, seizure and sale, examination of judgment debtor, etc.)
• Commencing bankruptcy and winding-up proceedings against debtors, and creditor representation in such proceedings
• Representing creditors in statutory restructuring regimes such as scheme of arrangements, pre-scheme moratorium, judicial management, etc.

• Court-supervised and private restructuring exercises and corporate reorganisation
• Contested winding-up applications and creditors' meetings
• Complex reorganisations and cross-border insolvency matters
• Judicial management, scheme of arrangement and pre-scheme moratorium cases

Our integrated, multi-disciplinary approach ensures seamless collaboration with our Litigation and Dispute Management team for restitutionary claims and contentious matters.

Government representation

Our lawyers are also gazetted as counsel to appear on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Singapore in civil proceedings for claims relating to State land and have acted for Singapore Land Authority in asset and debt recovery matters.
