Jasmine Chang

Jasmine specialises in Family and Matrimonial law and has represented clients in a range of contested and uncontested family and divorce matters.

Jasmine has experience in a wide range of family and divorce matters, including but not limited to contentious child issues, maintenance claims for wives and children, division of matrimonial assets involving high net worth parties and overseas assets, financial matters pursuant to a foreign divorce, and family violence. As a litigator, Jasmine is passionate about drafting and formulating comprehensive and persuasive legal arguments. Jasmine has handled matters at the Family Court level and at the High Court level, including appeals.

Jasmine strongly believes in the principles of Therapeutic Justice and strives to help parties reach an amicable resolution of cases whenever possible, especially where minor children are concerned. She has represented clients at mediation, both Court directed and private, and has assisted clients with negotiating settlements. Having represented clients from all walks of life, she appreciates the importance of resolving cases efficiently, to minimise the emotional and financial burden of legal proceedings for her clients.

She also has experience in advising and assisting clients on non-contentious matters such as drafting pre-nuptial agreements, post-nuptial agreements, and Wills.
