Cherrilynn specialises in civil and commercial litigation and arbitration. She has experience in a wide range of contentious and non-contentious work involving various areas of law such as breach contracts, sale of goods and services, company (shareholder disputes, etc.), negligence (including medical negligence), sanctions, employment, landlord-tenant, negligence, defamation, administrative law and harassment.
Cherrilynn is also prosecuting counsel for the Energy Market Authority. As Defence Counsel, she has represented clients charged with white-collar and blue-collar offences.
In the course of her practice, Cherrilynn has appeared and represented clients at all levels of courts in Singapore, including the Court of Appeal. She has also acted as counsel in international arbitrations in the Singapore International Arbitration Centre and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution.
Prior to joining Harry Elias Partnership, Cherrilynn worked in the litigation practice group at a leading international firm. She obtained a distinction in Civil Litigation Practice in the 2020 Part B Singapore Bar Examinations and is dual-qualified – having been admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2021, and as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales 2025.

Successfully represented the 2nd Defendant in resisting the Plaintiff's application for a declaration that the 1st Defendant held monies on trust for the Plaintiff. - WHR and another v WHT and others [2023] SGHCF 32
Represented the 6th Defendant in a contentious probate action where the Plaintiffs sought orders, inter alia, that probate in solemn form be granted in respect of the deceased's unproven will and codicil, and that costs be paid to the Plaintiffs by the Defendants requiring the unproven will and codicil to be proved in solemn form.
