Harry Elias Partnership LLP Managing Partner Philip Fong and Partner Sui Yi Siong acted for a Malaysian malware syndicate member who had been extradited to Singapore to face charges for being part of an organised crime group and abetting malware scams by renting servers in Hong Kong and Malaysia. Despite the Prosecution calling for a deterrent sentence of between 66 to 75 months' global imprisonment, the HEP Financial Crime Team managed to secure a global imprisonment term of 65 months.
