Harry Elias Partnership LLP Dispute Resolution Partner Sui Yi Siong has acted for the accused in a case involving a traffic accident along Havelock Road. Yi Siong highlighted in his oral mitigation that the pedestrians had crossed right where there was a no-crossing sign so any reasonable driver would not have expected jaywalkers. He added that while the driver accepted responsibility, the lapse had been momentary.
