Harry Elias Partnership LLP successfully acted for the Father in a post-divorce parental dispute concerning the choice of primary school for his son.
In its decision, the Family Court granted the Father sole authority to determine the child's school. The Court considered the child's welfare to be paramount and found that the reduced travelling and preparation time associated with the Father's preferred choice would benefit the child, allowing him three mornings each week without having to wake up as early for school.
The matter was led by Carrie Gill, Partner and Co-Head of the Family and Divorce Practice.
