Experience
- Cross Border Investment Dispute: Acted for directors in a dispute relating to an investment vehicle incorporated in a foreign jurisdiction. Successfully obtained interlocutory orders compelling the production of documents, particulars and resisted the bifurcation of a trial via a Single Application Pending Trial.
- Injunction: Acted for majority shareholders in successfully resisting an injunction aimed at preventing the convening of an extraordinary general meeting to pass resolutions.
- Mareva Injunction: Successfully acted for the applicant in setting aside a Mareva Injunction (a freezing order of assets), securing the release of assets.
- Defamation / Harassment: Acted for an applicant who was the subject of Facebook posts that had been widely circulated online. Successfully compelled the removal of the Facebook posts and obtained an order for damages.
- Misrepresentation / Conspiracy: Acted for investors in a 12-day trial involving misrepresentation and conspiracy claims and successfully obtained an award for damages and costs
