Mr Harry Elias SC helps establish the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme (CLAS), laying the foundation for structured pro bono work in Singapore.

2000 - 2013

Mr Elias receives the Legal Eagle Award (2000), CC Tan Award (2005), and the Public Service Medal (2013) for his contributions to the legal profession and society.

2005 - 2008

The firm plays a pivotal role in shaping Singapore's architectural landscape, advising on landmark developments such as

  • Marina Bay Sands—Singapore's first integrated resort (2005–2006)
  • The F1 Night Race Pit Building (2007–2008)
  • The Singapore Flyer—Singapore's first observation wheel (2006–2008)

2008

The firm celebrates 20 years of success in Singapore with a special event for its clients.

2012

The firm, through its managing partner, Philip Fong, signed a MOU with Pro Bono Services Office to establish a formal collaboration where each lawyer in the firm would commit to contribute at least 25 hours pro bono hours per year by supporting PBSA initiatives. The firm was the first law firm in Singapore to undertake this initiative.

2012

The firm establishes HEP Law in Brunei Darussalam, expanding its regional presence and supporting Brunei's legal and economic development.

2017

Harry Elias Partnership merges with Eversheds Sutherland to form Eversheds Harry Elias LLP, enhancing its international reach.

2020

The firm reverts to its original name, Harry Elias Partnership LLP, reaffirming its commitment to independence and regional strategy.

2025
