He advises on the formation of investment funds and variable capital companies in Singapore, and counsel on compliance and regulatory requirements. Tien Wei has extensive experience in public and private mergers and acquisitions, advising both buy-side and sell-side clients.

Experience

  • Advised a real estate company in the acquisition and acquisition financing of a Grade A office building for approximately S$655 million in consideration.
  • Advised a NYSE-listed company, in the acquisition of a global leading provider of cross-border payment services, on Singapore laws and regulations applicable to the acquisition.
  • Advised a Mainboard-listed company and its investment management arm in the sale of units in an Australian student housing portfolio fund (valued at circa A$1.1 billion) to a sovereign wealth enterprise.
  • Advised on a initial public offering on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, which yielded gross proceeds of HK$657.15 million.
