Andrea's practice encompasses both contentious and non-contentious family and matrimonial law matters. She advises and acts for clients in a wide range of proceedings, including divorce, ancillary matters, child custody and access disputes, relocation applications, cross-border family disputes, and guardianship applications.

Experience

  • Successfully represented the plaintiff wife in XIU v XIV[2025] SGHCF 28 in contested divorce proceedings before the Family Division of the High Court, securing inclusion of dissipated assets into the matrimonial pool, a majority share of assets, and spousal maintenance.
  • Successfully obtained a personal protection order in a contentious family violence dispute.
  • Successfully defended against an interim maintenance application and upheld the parties’ prenuptial agreement.
  • Acted in contested Guardianship of Infants Act proceedings, securing shared care and control arrangements in favour of the applicant.
  • Represented the applicant in contested cross-border divorce proceedings involving a jurisdictional challenge of the Family Justice Courts.
  • Advised the applicant in contested divorce proceedings involving a matrimonial pool in excess of S$700 million, assets spanning multiple jurisdictions and concerning third-party interests.
