Charis is a Legal Associate in the Family and Divorce Practice Group.
She is a member of the practice group listed in The Straits Times’ ranking of “Singapore’s Best Law Firms” under the field of Family Law in the 2023 edition. She is also a member of the practice group recognized as “First Tier” in the 2023 edition of Doyles Guide’s Singapore Family and Divorce Leading Law Firms.
Charis specialises in all areas of family and matrimonial law, including contentious custody, care and control disputes, maintenance for wives and children, division of matrimonial assets, family violence, relocation applications, cross-jurisdictional disputes such as child abductions, and adoption.
As a firm advocate of therapeutic justice, Charis is invested in mediation (both Court directed and private) and amicable resolution of cases whenever possible. She assists parties with negotiating out-of-court settlements to achieve practical and sustainable outcomes with minimal acrimony.
Charis graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2022 with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Minor in Social Work. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2023. She is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Academy of Law.
