Singapore Land Authority renews contract with Harry Elias Partnership

The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) has extended its contract with Harry Elias Partnership LLP (HEP) for an additional year, in addition to the original 2-year tenure. Under the contract, HEP will render and advise on all legal matters pertaining to SLA and its operations and appear on behalf of the Government of Singapore in civil proceedings by or against the Government for arrears of rent, licence fees and land premiums, damages and all other claims in respect of State land and the recovery of State land. 

The Singapore Land Authority is a statutory board under the Ministry of Law, Singapore that handles all the land concerns in Singapore, with the key responsibility of land use and development within the country. Other responsibilities include the management, including sale, lease, acquisition and allocation, of State land, as well as property and land registration.
