Partner Shaun Leong appointed an Arbitrator with centre at “Silicon Valley of South Asia”

Eversheds Harry Elias is delighted that our International Arbitration Partner, Shaun Leong, has been formally appointed by the Bangalore Board of Governance to be an Arbitrator on the Panel of the Bangalore International Mediation, Arbitration and Conciliation Centre. Bangalore, famously known as the Silicon Valley of South Asia, sits well with Shaun’s practice where he regularly serves a range of global technology clients, from artificial intelligence, biotech, blockchain to autonomous vehicle technology companies.

As reported in a Straits Times article in October, “Singapore plans to boost business with India tech sector”, Singapore has recently launched a plan to boost business partnerships with India through various technological innovations. The Singapore Minister for Trade Relations was in Bangalore for the expansion of the Global Innovation Alliance network to promote collaboration between Indian and Singapore enterprises.
