International Arbitration Of Counsel Shaun Leong invited to be a Speaker at the Echelon Asia Summit 2019

Eversheds Harry Elias is pleased that Shaun Leong, our International Arbitration Of Counsel, has been invited to speak at the Echelon Asia Summit 2019.

Echelon is a technology event where over 15,000 tech ecosystem players, startups, investors, government agencies, and corporates from more than 30 over countries come together to learn, discover and meet for opportunities across Asia’s emerging markets and ecosystem.

Shaun will be sharing perspectives from the legal angle, including aspects covering the emerging trends in technology disputes and how to effectively mitigate and manage risks.

Shaun acts as a legal adviser to several technology companies, such as OYO, a global technology hospitality platform with properties in over 337 cities, Onchain Custodian, a cryptocurrency custodian company, and MOOAH, a customer relations management software based on blockchain technology. He published the first written decisions issued by an Assistant Registrar of the High Court of Singapore on disclosure orders over electronic documents on the Cloud (Dirak Asia Pte Ltd v Chew Hua Kok), and in a separate decision, on compulsory orders to disclose data on mobile devices (Surface Stone Pte Ltd v Tay Seng Leon).
