Eversheds Harry Elias is delighted that Shaun Leong, our Of Counsel with the International Arbitration group, is a contributing author to the 2019 edition of the Singapore Civil Procedure. The book, fondly referred to as the “White Book”, is the definitive text on civil procedure and a must have for in-house counsel engaged in managing disputes proceedings, and for disputes lawyers who want a helpful guide on the rules and procedure of the Singapore Courts.

Shaun is in charge of the chapters relating to arbitration, international arbitration and the Singapore International Commercial Court (SICC). Prior to working several years as an arbitration specialist with arbitration practices in offshore magic circle sets, Shaun was a Magistrate and Assistant Registrar of the Supreme Court who handled commercial disputes and international arbitration cases. Shaun worked on the establishment of the SICC as Secretariat to the SICC Committee, where he was assisted with the formulation of the rules and procedure of the Court.
