HEP continues to represent Marina Bay Sands

On 12 May 2012 it was reported in the Singapore Business Times that Harry Elias Partnership LLP, in a recent case is acting on behalf of MBS in their quest to recover debts incurred by patrons of their integrated resort.

With a rising number of casino debtors defaulting on their payments, MBS has engaged Harry Elias Partnership LLP to represent them for a significant number of claims. It was reported in the Singapore Business Times that to date, the Firm has filed 30 debt collection cases on behalf of MBS, which appears to be highest number so far filed by any individual law firm, on behalf of MBS.

The Firm is acting in more than 25 cases of errant gamblers on behalf of MBS and had obtained one default judgment against Lee Chong Hock of Singapore.
