Harry Elias Partnership wins lawsuit against Cherie Hearts after a seven-month legal tussle

Last week, Harry Elias Partnership LLP successfully won on behalf of the clients, the complex legal dispute between local childcare centre chain Cherie Hearts Group International Pte Ltd and Australian-based G8 Education Ltd. The case, in the last seven months HAD attracted much media and public attention and was closely watched for the outcome.

The litigation team led by lead counsel and managing partner Philip Fong, disproved successfully Cherie Hearts' claim that they were justified in calling off the deal because G8 has committed breaches of contract, and in fact were the ones who had breached the contract themselves and obtained judgment in clients' favour.
