For the first time in Singapore, businesses were introduced to the benefits of using mediation as a credit management tool, at the recent Credit Management Leadership Forum held at Resorts World Sentosa on 17th October, 2011, thanks to our senior partner, Francis Goh, who is himself a Principal Mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre. The forum was part of Global Entrepolis (GES) 2011, a foremost business leaders event in the region, focusing on global trends, innovation and growth strategies, and graced by Mr S Iswaran, Minister, Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Home Affairs and Trade and Industry. During the forum, Francis delivered a presentation on mediation as a credit management tool, and moderated a panel discussion that looked at how businesses can craft effective credit policies and procedures to meet the evolving business landscape, which included representatives from the finance industry.
