Phoebe is a legal associate in the corporate practice group in the Singapore office of Eversheds. She specialises in the areas of cross-border mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate restructuring. Phoebe also regularly advises clients on a wide range of corporate matters including corporate compliance, employment and personal data protection.

Phoebe graduated from the National University of Singapore with an LLB (Hons) in 2015 and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2016. She graduated top of her cohort in Insolvency Law and Practice for Part B of the Singapore Bar Examinations 2015 and was awarded the SILE Prize for the Best Student in Insolvency Law and Practice.

Recent transactions/cases include:

  • Acted as Singaporean counsel for a FTSE-100 listed international group in the restructuring of its intra-group financing arrangements with a transaction value in excess of USD 700 million.
  • Acted as Singaporean counsel for NFI Group Inc., North America’s largest bus and coach manufacturer, in relation to its GBP 320 million acquisition of Alexander Dennis Limited, the world’s largest manufacturer of double-decker buses.
  • Advised Near Pte. Ltd., a data analytics company headquartered in Singapore, on its USD 78.5 million Series D financing led by private equity fund Greater Pacific Capital.
  • Advised Pine Labs, India’s largest digital retail payments platform, on its Series G funding round from strategic and existing investors PayPal Pte. Ltd., Advent Management Belgium SA, MacRitchie Investments Pte. Ltd. and Actis Pine Labs Investment Holdings Limited, with a transaction value of USD 62 million.
  • Acted as Singaporean counsel for Catalyst Development Ltd., a specialist financial markets consultancy based in the United Kingdom, in relation to its GBP 30 million acquisition of Sionic Advisors, a global consulting firm.
  • Advised Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd., a global IT solutions and services company based in India, in relation to its EUR 28 million acquisition of Nielsen+Partner Unternehmensberater GmbH, an IT consulting and software services company headquartered in Germany.
  • Advised a Singapore investment fund on its acquisition of a stake in a medical systems company based in Singapore.
  • Advised an international building materials group headquartered in Ireland in relation to its proposed acquisition of a global climate control business.
