Pauline Lee heads the Firm’s Real Estate and Banking Practice Group.
Pauline’s main areas of specialty are in real estate financing and real estate transactions involving state and private lands. She has extensive experience in advising on numerous residential, commercial and industrial projects in Singapore. Her clients include major listed developers such as City Developments Limited, CapitaLand, Singapore Press Holdings, Sentosa Development Corporation, Hong Leong, Sime Darby, Fraser Centrepoint, KS Development Pte Ltd and Aspial Corporation Group and medium sized developers such as Tiong Aik Construction Pte Ltd, Sino Holdings (S’pore) Pte Ltd, Grovehill Pte Ltd, Guan Realty Pte Ltd, Meadow’s Bright Development Pte Ltd and Sustained Land Pte Ltd and Golden Villa Pte Ltd. She also represents major financial institutions such as DBS Bank, UOB Bank, OCBC Bank, Citibank (Singapore) Pte Ltd, Citibank N.A., Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC, Maybank, RHB Bank, CIMB Bank and Julius Baer.
Where residential properties are concerned, the Firm is currently on the panel of law firms appointed by the CPF Board to handle all legal matters required in processing CPF applications in relation to the purchase of such properties. For commercial projects, Pauline advised Singapore Health Partners in its successful tender of land to build the FIRST mediplex in Singapore, comprising a hospital, hotel and medical centre and acted for Marriot International Inc. in relation to the development and management of The Ritz-Carlton Residences Singapore Cairnhill, a 58-unit luxury residential condominium. She also represented the Hang Huo Enterprise Group Limited, the first foreign company from Macau, and its subsidiary Hang Huo Management (S) Pte Ltd in their investment in and on a loan facility with DBS in relation to the purchase, development and construction of a Singapore boutique hotel link Hotel at Tiong Bahru Road, an innovative conversion of two blocks of Singapore Improvement Trust (SIT) flats into a new hotel.
Pauline’s experience in acting for high-profile clients was highlighted in the Asian In-House Handbook 2009. Her Practice Group was awarded “Real Estate Firm of the Year” by Asian Counsel Firms Of The Year 2008.
