Moiz is a Partner in the Firm’s Corporate and Financial Services Practice Group.  He has over 15 years of experience in general corporate and commercial law. He has advised listed companies on corporate governance and compliance issues  and in medical law and risk management issues, while he was an executive director of a leading health care company listed on the Singapore Exchange.  His particular area of focus recently has been on Islamic Banking and Finance transactions where he has been working with various entities and both international and GCC banks on the issuance of Islamic finance instruments including Murabahah Tawaruq and Ijarah Muntahiah Bitamlik.

Moiz is also an appointed Justice of Peace and serves as a board member with the Life Imprisonment Review Board, the President’s Pleasure Review Board, the Board of Visitors (Visiting Drug Rehabilitation Centres),  the Board of Governors, Madrassa Irsyad, and the Ethics Committee of Raffles Hospital. He is also the Treasurer of Masjid Abdul Aleem Mosque Management Committee and has served as a Council Member of the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore.

In addition to his degree in Business Administration from the University of Singapore in 1973, Moiz is also a Barrister-at-Law, having been called to the English Bar in 1976 and the Singapore Bar in 1977.
