Tien Hua is a Partner in the Firm's Family and Matrimonial Law Practice Group and a Partner in the Firm's Sports and Media Practice Group.  He has acted for high net worth individuals, successful entrepreneurs, and wealthy families in numerous matrimonial and family law disputes and has appeared in matrimonial cases from the Singapore Family Court to the Singapore Court of Appeal.

Tien Hua is a fellow of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, which membership is open only to family lawyers with experience in international disputes relating to maintenance, division of assets and children's issues.  He is also a member of the Family Law Committee of the Law Society of Singapore.  He is the author of a book on matrimonial and family law entitled "Divorce - Untying The Knot", a publication by Marshall Cavendish. Tien Hua is also an accredited Singapore Mediation Centre family law mediator involved in the Singapore Mediation Centre's Family Law Mediation Pilot Project.

In his expertise as a Sports and Media lawyer particularly in the field of motor sports, Tien Hua has advised an international motor sports racing team which competed in international touring car championships outside of Singapore on various aspects of sports law involving rules and regulations of the governing bodies, international sponsorship agreements, employment matters and various contracts. Tien Hua also advised on the launch of an international motorcycle racing team which competed in the World Superbikes Championship and is part of the legal team advising the Singapore Sports Council and Singapore Netball Association on the World Netball Championships to be hosted by Singapore in 2011.

He was also one of the key speakers at the recent Legal Week Private Client Forum Asia 2010 where he gave his insights on the modern challenges faced by couples undergoing divorce in terms of asset distribution and risk management for high-net worth clients.  He was also recently featured on national television, Channel News Asia, where he shared his expert opinion on various matters relating to family law.

Tien Hua was called to the Singapore Bar in 1994 and is a Commissioner for Oaths.
