Our practice involves advising on and assisting in the recovery of debts and assets for our major clients, comprising banks, financial institutions, listed corporations, major commercial landlords, property developers and management corporations, and acting for and advising liquidators, judicial managers, receivers and managers, creditors, companies and shareholders on corporate insolvency and restructuring exercises in Singapore. Our approach has been and is to offer practical solutions to the problems at hand.

We have worked with major accounting firms to undertake and advise on debt restructuring and corporate reorganisation, judicial management and scheme of arrangement cases.

Besides corporate insolvency, we have been engaged and have extensive experience in personal insolvency as well.

Our Practice Group was recently shortlisted as a finalist, for the first time, in the inaugural ALB SE Asia Law Awards 2010 following its involvement in a restructuring matter involving TT International Limited, in which they advised HSBC Institutional Trust Services as trustee of Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust (A-REIT), the landlord of TT International Tradepark.

For restitutionary claims and disputes culminating in court or arbitration actions, we work closely with our specialists in the Civil and Commercial Litigation Practice Group, and are thus able to offer a multi-disciplinary approach to our clients.
