Harry Elias Partnership has announced the appointment of Yvonne Foo as a partner in the Construction and Engineering practice.

Yvonne has extensive experience in advising international, regional and local clients  on construction-related disputes relating to issues such as variations, claims for extensions of time, liquidated damages, termination, risk management and recently, COVID-related issues. A specialist in construction law, Yvonne has advised on a wide range of projects including transport and other public infrastructure projects, residential and commercial real estate and property projects, industrial treatment plants, oil and gas and other energy-related projects.

Yvonne regularly advises on dispute resolution and dispute avoidance matters. She is highly experienced in various alternative dispute resolution mechanisms including arbitration, adjudication and mediation. Yvonne is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), and also an associate mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre.

Prior to joining Harry Elias Partnership, Yvonne worked with another leading international firm, where she was involved in several prominent projects globally. She has practised in both common law and civil law jurisdictions. Yvonne currently advises on matters in Singapore, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
